Carina, privé-leraar in talen in Maastricht 6200

Dear parents, my name is Carina and I'm 19 years old. I am originally from Germany, but currently living in Maastricht to start my bachelor studies in september. I am fluent in French and English as well as in German, which is my mother tongue. After finishing primary school, I chose to enter a bilingual German-French class. This way I advanced my French language skills on a really intense level. I was taught in French up to 11 hours the week, including geography and history lessons. During my school career, I took part in several student exchanges to France and finally stayed in Brest for 4 months when I was 15, to attend school there. In July 2018, I finished school by taking my German “Abitur” and my French “Baccalaureate” and therefore reached a C1 level. During this time, I gave a lot private tuition lessons for younger pupils from my school, repeated vocabulary, explained grammatical rules and prepared them for exams. Afterwards, I took a gap year as an au pair in Scotland, to improve my English language skills as well. Talking English on a daily base helped me to get familiar with the English sentence structure, new vocabulary and grammar. At the end of my gap year, I successfully passed the "Cambridge certificate of advanced English" which means that I'm currently between the C1 and C2 level. I would love to share my knowledge with new pupils in Maastricht now.
